"Airconditioned and good size room, good size bathroom and comfortable big bed. Only down because of few flying ants in the bathroom and no fridge. Really great location and staff. We will come back."

"I've stayed 4 times at Laguna Hotel. This room was not the best and the most expensive (but its July.) Single rm. The room was very dusty especially the carpets, They need to invest in better PILLOWS. The side panel to Bath loose. Shower head OK. I visit Bournemouth regularly as my son at Uni."

"Fabulous modern Miami themed hotel the beds are super comfortable and Aircon which is very much needed this weekend. The staff was so friendly and helpful proper service with a smile and all very engaging. Fabulous view of the sea and a gorgeous pool. My only criticism was filling the kettle in the modern sink difficult !"

"Loved the outdoor heated pool. About 30deg. Open 8-8. Good seats around pool area. Bed comfortable. Didn't have breakfast. Easy walk or cycle down to the beach and the town"

"First the car park. This WAS a real feature of the hotel. But the new owners have given it to an external company, and it costs £20 per day!!! I drove straight out to oark nearby at 1/3 the price. The worst bit was the check-in. Thu 9 July at 4pm. A surly girl who gave no greeting, told me the price, reluctantly reduced the booked amount because they no longer do breakfast, with no comment other than just stating the new price. Then told to check in using a QR code, a very long winded process including having to send a photograph etc. Given the key, with no comment from her. After that, great. The room was nice with a Seaview it had a fan, plenty of pillows, large bathroom, and very pleasant. A good atmosphere in the evening, with a large screen outside for the football and a good atmosphere inside. One overexcited guy was removed by Security which I’m sure pleased everybody."

"Upside: SUPER friendly and helpful staff, nice bar. Good atmosphere. An amazing garden. Great location - easy walk to the beach. Quiet, despite being central. To manage your expectation: - The hotel is very old with squeaky wooden floors under the carpet… the furniture is from ages ago, too. If you are after luxury, forget about it. - The pool would be great in winter. For summer (particularly if there is a heatwave), it is way too warm! CAUTION: If you are booking one of the cheaper room options, call them and confirm your room will have a proper window."
