"The food is really really really bad in quality, I had my daughter with me and I was honestly concerned of what I should pick for her to eat. The rest of the hotel is good but I won’t go again as the food is way way way beyond the standard and I am not a fancy eater at all"

"The Grand Palace Hotel Hurghada has beautiful pools and a lovely beachfront setting that makes the stay relaxing. The staff are friendly and truly hard‑working, which adds warmth to the experience. "All good here - no problems of any kind. Lots of frendly staff.Well kept gardens. 8 bars - can get a drink at anytime. Fine food selection - you will not go hungry here. Large rooms with 2 double beds and bath robes. Safe beach - you can view colorful fish just by walking out to the coral - large pools with no fight for sunbeds. Isolated - apart from other hotels just desert outside. We never left the resort and will be happy to return."

"Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but the first night was very frustrating. When I arrived, the hotel did not have the room I had booked. As a solo traveler, I reserved a standard non-smoking room with a king or queen bed due to asthma, which was very important to me. Instead, I was placed in a family suite far from the lobby. Staff called it an “upgrade,” but it was not— the furniture and TV were very dated, and the room was located near the lounge/club, where smoke and loud music carried into the room. When I returned to request a change, I was told the hotel was fully booked due to Eid. I explained that I had a paid reservation made in advance to secure my room, so being fully booked did not address the issue. Staff then promised to call me the next day once a room became available. I arrived late, around 11:30 PM after an international flight, and had no choice but to stay in the room. I was exhausted and did not sleep well due to noise, smoke, and discomfort. The next morning, I noticed the room was also not properly cleaned, with visible dust and dirt in areas. I never received the promised call and had to return to the lobby, where new staff had no record of my issue. After explaining everything again, I was finally provided with a suitable room that matched my original booking. While the rest of my stay was enjoyable, the lack of communication, poor handling of my reservation, and unacceptable first-night experience made for a disappointing start."
