"Sehr gute Lage direkt im Zentrum. Das Apartment war komplett ausgestattet. Alles war sauber. Das Gebäude ist allerdings sehr hellhörig. Wir würden dort wieder übernachten und können die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen."

Breakfast started too late so we were unable to take advantage of it 7:30 on week days 8:30 on weekends The only problem was that they sent us the wrong room number and code for one of our rooms. When we got back that evening we couldn’t get into the room. We were moved to another room after a long conversation via phone with the staff Love the keyless entry but would have been helpful to have someone on site."

"We loved the stay in the apartment. Was a perfect spot right in the heart of Akureyri! The apartment was so comfortable and clean. The balcony over the street and looking at the port was an extra plus!"

"Overall okay but the room could have been cleaner. There was some plastic in one of the beds and the shower tiles had noticeable soap scum. Staff was very nice when we asked for hairdryer and extra pillows."

"The room we had was small and right at the front of the house next to the front door. The only window that could be opened for air circulation was right where people were entering and exiting the property. Free parking at the property was not included despite the Expedia description. It is also referred to as a bed and breakfast, but breakfast is an additional fee we were not able to purchase upon arrival because it needed to be done in advance. The room was clean and well located in the city...

"Clean and comfortable beds. Full kitchen with everything you needed. Hot tub was incredible to have, it filled quickly but needed to be drained nightly otherwise the pump would keep you up all night. Laundry available in the reception area, and it was free."

"Outside of Cabin appeared a little rough but that was just normal age. Interior was great. Perfect for up to 6 people. Great amenities and just minutes from downtown."

"This is an incredible place to stay. It was problem the best lodge we've ever been to. It has stunning views across the fjord which can be enjoyed from the hot tub. It's really well equipped and was always a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Thank you!"

"Room was clean, but no blackout curtains, room was hot (around 20° C outside temp the night we stayed). Breakfast food was just okay (no eggs or yogurt other than hard boiled), but super attentive staff which was appreciated!"

"Had a single twin interior room- super small. The bathroom shower enclosure was missing sliding doors to prevent water from splashing onto the floor and shower drained slowly. Also the only ventilation in the bathroom were slats on the lower portion of the bathroom door. Made for an uncomfortable bath. Breakfast was very good. Had to park offsite. Bed was ok. The location is however in walking distance to restaurants. Overall would recommend renting the double room and not the single room."

"The room is too small, too windy outside. Dinning room is ok, has microwave. Bed is soft, room is clean with soap and shampoo, very nice. There is water cooker and refrigerator in room, nice!"

"This is a brand new hotel, it’s opened within the last few weeks. It is decorated beautifully and you feel like you’re in a really fancy private library from the second you walk in. The rooms are impeccably decorated and feel really elegant. Though it’s not the vibe my wife and I usually go for, we enjoyed our time here. I want to give a special shout out to the bartender Julian. He was attentive, friendly and very helpful. Overall great stay!"
