"We loved our stay! Right on the peninsula and right on the way for our road trip! Staff was friendly, but I couldn’t control the thermostat and it was 26 C when we walked in and the shower curtain was missing so everything got soaked. Other than that, truly lovely stay!"

"The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also good. There isn’t much else near the hotel other than the adjacent restaurant. We ordered pizza from the Red Shed (excellent) and brought it tot our room. The actual town is a bit of a walk away (we had already walked a section of the WHW that day so that wasn’t great for us). I would recommend that hikers that need supplies get off the bus at Ballachulish by the coop and then walk back to the hotel)."

The photos didn’t match the room when booking online. When asking about an upgrade or change I was asked to pay €90 more, then when I said too much he said €40 cash. Although I had paid for a deluxe loch view room, the second room had a window so cloudy we could barely see out of it. Room was tiny. Not the159 square feet advertised. Ceiling panel was hanging down and water stains on the ceiling. Don’t accept room 3 if you decide to stay here. At that point we were just too travel weary and accepted what we were given.
