"Traveled to Divi Aruba All Inclusive last week of February 2026 with my spouse. We have made 7or 8 prior visits but none within last 4yrs. Pros: Weather mid 80’s, ocean was clean and calm, staff are generally friendly and attentive to the duties. Garden view room was clean, comfortable and a short distance to beach. Cons: Restaurants on site are lacking and have limited menus with the chef’s take on preparation. Asian, Mexican and Italian restaurant meals contain non traditional ingredients so ask before ordering. The Mediterranean restaurant we passed on but it offered no hummus dish. Buffet is reduced to one resort for dinner so can be crowded but has many options including hummus. The beach is hit or miss on available chairs and palapas for shade. Aruba’s law allows anyone to use a palapa located on the beach, not just paying resort guests. However many of the people also feel free to use the resort restrooms, beach rinse stations, Wi-Fi and garbage receptacles. Lots of bottled beverages consumed on beach also. Disappointed resort security did not try addressing issues but instead stayed completely shaded while also enjoying the wi-fi playing on their phones."

"The Google map directions might confuse you,, as they did me,,, and I've been to Aruba, and specifically this area of Aruba, six times... The complex is literally, 2 or 3 blocks, due east,,, of the Super Food market... Which is also an 8 minute walk to Eagle beach,,, which is where my wife and I prefer to base ourselves in Aruba... We took advantage of the ECONOMY studio..... and knew that it wouldn't be spacious or too fancy. But, what surprised us was the fact that we only were given 2 Bath towels, and ONE washcloth to shower with... I wished that they simply would have stated that clearly, in the booking details... But the details can become confusing,, because they do not distinguish between the more expensive rooms, versus the ECONOMY rooms. But they do provide free laundry washing machine and dryer... Please don't get me wrong,,,, the economy rooms are definitely worth the money for which you pay.,,,,, I just wish that we knew ahead of time,,,, that we were either going to have to do laundry, or needed to bring our own wash rags and towels,,, which I would hav accepted,,, but just didn't know until we had arrived. Juliette is so awesome and friendly. And I do not have any other concerns. For the money,,,,, it definitely worth it. And we'll probably use them again... Just , do the best to understand what you're getting,,, and what you are Not "

"When we come to Aruba we usually stay Marriott. This time we decided to try Joia. It’s a new hotel. But that’s where the good things stopped. If you come to the beach too early no umbrellas or chairs are put out. Usually they’re starting to do that after 8-8:30 am. Also, if you didn’t come early enough the staff puts towels on the chairs claiming it’s for members only. So if that’s the case it should be advertised as such hotel. For members of some club only. Apparently if you paid $1,000.00 per night it’s not good enough for staff to accommodate you at the beach. The waitress service at the beach is the worst. They’re just doesn’t want to work. Staying most of the day under the trees. If by any miracle you see waiter passing by you better make sure he takes your order or you would have to wait forever for him to come again. Rooms are new and clean. However, it may take cleaning crew to clean your room whole day. Lots of people complained that rooms were cleaned way after 4 pm. Also, if you have reservations outside the hotel leave extra time for the taxi. It’s not easy to get taxi at this place. But more importantly, check your final bill carefully. We had quite a few charges that wasn’t ours. Truthfully, I wouldn’t go back there again. "
