"The hotel is ideally placed for the centre of York on the south side of the River Ouse. The room was very clean and looked over the river and the night life on the other bank. Restaurant food was great. Staff were very helpful and loaned us a wheelchair for the weekend. The downside is that their car park was full when we arrived, which at £20 a night was steep, but the nearby NCP car park charged £80 for two nights :-((."

The room service was great with polite people delivering the food and the meals were delicious. They do breakfast in bed service which is so convenient and a real treat. The rooms are spacious with separate wash and bathrooms. Huge comfy bed. Top tier experience."
