"I stayed only a few nights and had wonderful experience. Place is relatively easy to find - this relaxing walk through the green park was a big joyful bonus. Very clean room, comfy bed, good shower. Attention to detail in any aspect. So, it was a real pleasure to return to my room after spending a day in a busy town. Thank you Fiona and Ricardo for making my stay so special. I won't hesitate to rebook again."

"The hotel is full of quirky little seats and corridors. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at ease. The room was one of the best sizes and layouts for the cost we've stayed in the the bathrooms are excellent. The showers are double size walk in with waterfall nozzles and excellent finish. "When checking out our room was different, we are from Arizona and never used anything like this, we had to use the key card to turn on electricity to the room. The bed was comfortable and clean, air conditioner worked great and the shower was excellent. The staff was excellent and answered all my questions.The laundry room was ok, washed all the clothes well, but drying the clothes wasn't that good after an hour still had to let the clothes dry in our room.Kitchen was nice had a dishwasher and...

"The Dean Court is a charming boutique hotel that was completed in 1865 as Clergy residences for York Minster which the hotel is in the shadow of. Because you are staying in a heritage building there can be some charming challenges such as creaky floors and low clearance doorways. Despite that the positives far outweigh any challenges you may encounter. Everything is walkable from the Dean Court and there are several great pubs feet from your front door many of which offer a Sunday Roast menu....

"Room was so small it should of been used for single occupancy. Air conditioning didn't work properly only went down to 19 degrees which made the room too hot to sleep in at night. Very disappointing"

"The positives: This hotel is in a GREAT location, and the staff was friendly. The included breakfast was nice. The negatives: The room was the tiniest room I have EVER seen in my life - no place to even leave a suitcase open. The bed was the only place with room to open it, so I had to get out what I wanted and zip it back up each time. If that had been the only issue, I would be rating this better, however, this room was FILTHY, with huge piles of dust and giant wads of other people's hair all...
