"Good for early flights. Main bed is comfortable but sofa bed is terrible (made up of 3 small mattress pieces that separate easily when you lie down)"

"Stay here regularly and always welcomed in a friendly helpful manner Rooms are clean and comfortable Breakfast is substantial Reception staff very helpful when I dropped my dentures down the plug hole, quickly retrieving it for me"

"First room I was issued was very dated and filthy. Stains up the walls and all round in poor condition. I was moved to another room after complaining which was much better, however starting to show its age. Staff however really need to learn how to smile. Unfriendly vibes from all but one team member."

"Decent hotel, not as close to Stanstead as initially expected, but there is a very handy regular shuttle bus to and from the airport. Only downside is that the rooms are very noisy, you can definitely hear what sounded like planes taking off well in to the night."

"Full cooked breakfast was available, parking was available with plenty of space. The room could have been cleaned better, especially around the window but the rest of the room and the bathroom were fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. I understand the property had new owners so they were probably still getting to know the property."

"Great place to stay before an early morning flight. Hotel is a short 1 minute walk from the terminal which is very helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are helpful. A pleasant lobby/bar area to have a relaxing drink. There is also a pool, sauna, steam room, and gym which are free to use for hotel guests which is a fantastic bonus to start the holiday! Overall, the best hotel option near Stansted Airport and worth paying a few £ extra for."

"not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes. apparently the normal freezer had broken. however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future. the staff were excellent"

"Great place to stay if you are travelling with kids. The family rooms were good. We arrived really late in the evening after 11am and were able to food and drink easily from the service station right next door. We also needed an iron and ironing board and the hotel staff were able to get one sorted for us quickly. We stayed one night on route to our final destination."
