"Great hotel perfect location staff friendly and helpful"

"The room was suitable for our short stay, however with such lovely expanse of grounds it was therefore unfortunate that the view from our room was a 12foot high brick wall. Despite there being no air conditioning the room had a patio door which once open cooled the room. Upon request the hotel provided a fridge for my elderly mothers insulin, unfortunately the fridge was faulty and froze the insulin which caused a unplanned medical issue. "Bed was comfortable with good pillows. Bed linen felt lovely. Room was clean. AC was not efficient ( on a hot night). Carpet on corridor to rooms on GF, looked and felt like it had seen better days."

"Close to the airport but we were not aware of any noise from the planes. The hotel was clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly . There was a wide choice of hot and cold dishes for breakfast . Bar food was equally good and served quickly despite the number of people there . The beds were comfortable, the shower was a good strength and tea and coffee was available in the room."

"Check in was great, nice & easy and the room was ready straight away. The room was a twin, a great size but very tired. The carpet could do with changing and the shower sealant definitely needs re-doing as it was black in areas. Breakfast was plentiful, could have been warmer but nothing too drastic. "Full cooked breakfast was available, parking was available with plenty of space. The room could have been cleaned better, especially around the window but the rest of the room and the bathroom were fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. I understand the property had new owners so they were probably still getting to know the property."

"Staff were very kind but there are stairs leading to the room that are rough to bring suitcases up. They have water provided and the bar staff were very keen to fill my water bottle up which was nice. If you are planning to come during the summer Don’t. They don’t have AC and it got quite hot in the room."
