"Beautiful and clean "

"I will be staying here when I return to the area. From the staff to the room to the grounds it is evident that the family runs this place with pride. I meet a few of the family members and they were friendly, helpful and a great to talk to. There are 2 historic homes beside each other in a quiet neighborhood. The grounds behind the homes are well maintained with birds and deer in the mornings."

"The staff was so helpful. We hit bad weather and are travel was delayed and Expedia system canceled out room after 11pm. When we called to verify travel (due to weather) was delayed. We literally had no room to sleep and the staff figured out for us."

"Hotel was situated in a good stop. Close drive to Robert Treman State Park. You can walk to Buttermilk State Park. Close drive to Watkins Glen Falls State Park. Close to Cornell Botanical Gardens and Ithaca town. Rooms were clean, staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. Just thought it was silly that they charged $4.17 plus tax for parking. Overall my stay was good."

"Rooms were clean, staff were very friendly, parking was available conveniently and for free. I specially loved how this site provides complimentary water bottles, fresh-baked cookies, and 24hr coffee. Breakfast was good with many choices, but my only gripe was that oatmeal container was lined with thin plastic, really?...cooked oatmeal in a thin plastic?? Otherwise, everything would be excellent. "The facility is clean and well maintained, plenty of parking and well located. I was given a handicap room and it is was very dark with false windows and frosted glass and dim light behind the glass. There was 1 lamp and bed lights, but that was not sufficient to provide adequate light for this room. The TV remote did not work, they replaced it but then the TV would not turn off, it had to be unplugged. The bathroom was awkward, no vanity and the toilet paper roll would not stay in the holder....

"Charming property with delightful rooms. Victorian decor and old world charm. Staff was friendly. No elevator but stairs to second floor were manageable. Beautiful view from 3 sides in the Garden room. Location was convenient to walk to the falls. Bright dining room. Had an excellent dinner and continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again."

"Checked in and checked right back out. Filthy, scary and looked like people lived there. Room smelled of smoke and the smoke detector was pulled off wall and missing. They should be in Expedia. Awful! There were police officers in the parking lot when we pulled in."
