"Absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Royal Plaza for 13 nights. Definitely would choose them again. Hotel for me was in a very convenient area with access to the train/underground and bus. As it was right in the shopping mall it also meant loads of food choices if you didn't want to go far as well as decent shopping though admittedly enjoyed shopping in the nearby markets like Ladies Market, Flower Market and Temple street more than the mall. All the staff I encountered were all very friendly, professional, helpful and efficient. The lovely ladies who clean the rooms always greeted me with a smile and even disappointed one day when I said I didn't want my room cleaned! I didn't get to use much of the hotel facilities as was out and about meeting up with friends and family but on our departure day since our flight out was late in the evening we asked about using the shower facilities and was happy to pay a fee since we had already checked out. The Concierge staff were so helpful in helping to arrange this and the service was complimentary. One final thing that I loved about my stay to which I have not seen before in any hotel and I highly recommend other hotels take on board if they haven't already, and that is there was an additional tap in the bathroom which was filtered drinking water! Genius! So you don't have to use/buy bottled water and since it was on tap you can drink as much as you can and take some out with you in your flask when you are out."

"We had a good two night stay at this property. There are no local stores or restaurants but…there is a bus stop within a very short walk where you can take a public light bus to Maritime Square (12 minutes). That is a huge MTR Mall with tons of shops and restaurants of all types. The bus costs 4 HKD each way and runs every 10-15 minutes. The hotel is well air conditioned and has an elevator to all floors. We found the front desk open at all hours with friendly staff. From the airport you take the AirPort Express Line to Tsing Yi and a taxi to the hotel, maybe 7 minutes away by car. Taxis are clean and cheap in Hong Kong so don’t hesitate. At Maritime Square you can take the MTR (underground) to absolute anywhere in Hong Kong. It’s cheap and convenient. Buy an Octopus Card at the airport and load it up with about 200 HKD to start. You can top it up anywhere in the city (7-11 or any station). This will get you on any train,bus or some taxis. Bottom line…the hotel is clean, cheap and we will stay here again."

"Breakfast menu could have alternated and had more western options. Room was clean, however the aircon was very loud at night. The main bed couldn’t sleep my husband as it was too short. "

"Perfect stay! We arrived late at night, around 11pm and were worried no one would be at the front desk. There were 3 people there and 2 others at the front doors! Check in was easy and fast. The 2 rooms we booked were together as requested. Clean room, plenty of hot water in the shower and great water pressure. Good shampoo and soap, plenty of towels. Great view and close to the airport. Beds were very firm. There are only two outlets that we saw so if you need to charge multiple phones/items, be prepared. Fridge cold and AC working great. We would absolutely stay here again. "
