Hotel La Rose

10/10 Excellent

"The Hotel La Rose is a great little boutique hotel conveniently located on Santa Rosa's Railroad Square. It is tastefully appointed with Victorian decor throughout. Grossman's restaurant is located on the ground level. My room was on the fourth floor. The elevator was out when I was there, so I got my exercise in climbing stairs! The bed was not that comfy, and the pillows had seen better days, but apart from those minor complaints, I enjoyed my stay."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was wonderful and the fireplace was a nice decor. The mini fridge amenities added a thoughtful touch. The whole property was nice and quiet, and you can walk the vineyard and see the ripe grapes! Really nice and relaxing and the location is close to many places in the area. Also ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Food was great. Would definitely stay again"

"We had a wonderful room with a view of Bodega Head and the Bodega Bay. No A/C is needed with fresh air flowing through the windows. Temps were brisk but felt incredible. Fireplace was a bonus and we used it to warm up the room in the morning. Only downfall was the workers begin cleaning rooms fairly early so no sleeping in."

"Area was near a gas station, and 2 breakfast spots, fairly near a trail to walk/bike downtown. Staff were so friendly and provided great information. Room had a motel vibe, but clean and felt safe! Pool was pretty small, didn't use. Brought my doggy and our stay went well, not many spots for her to use the potty but it was sufficient."

"I can't wait to return here. The staff is unassuming, sweet, fun, and genuine. The rooms are beautiful: beds super comfortable like sleeping in a cloud! It was unique to have a room in the main house but it was perfect as that's where we played cards in the sunroom and where nightly wine tasting takes place. The food is excellent, do partake in the dinner...it's worth it! The evening is made complete with the complimentary Smores kits. This place is perfect for both a girlfriend getaway as well as a romantic one."

"I had a great get away in my canvas cabin with queen bed. It was a working retreat for me and the internet connection was reliable. The bed and furniture were very comfortable. The electric blanket kept me warm. I enjoyed a dip in the pool and comfortable lounge chairs after poolside. Ill be back another time hopefully soon."
