"Stayed at the beach house to be close to the water and the RV park friends were at. Very clean, comfortable house with walking trails to the water. Nice outside area with picnic table and swing under the house. Great location. Safe area."

"Clean room. Coffee maker did not work. Spa was not heated. Breakfast was good. Super packed but staff did a good job in refilling food. Staff was hit or miss. Check in staff was grumpy but check out staff was very friendly and personable. "

"The room was clean and modern. The staff was great and accommodating. I like a firm mattress but this one was hard as a rock. Maybe because it was a handicap room? The only amenities in the room was two small bars of soap, and no hair drier. There a coffee and juice machine in the lobby in the morning. "

"Very dated and run down. Room smelled very old and musky and didn’t seem really clean. We actually went and bought room spray. The paint was coming off the hand rails in the bathroom really bad. No water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was bad. Only eggs and waffles. Nothing else. Door keys worked part of the time. For the price we were expecting a much better stay. Won’t stay there again. For the price there’s a lot of other options that are cleaner and all around better. "

"The hotel is not bad,, it has horrible curb appeal . I’m not sure who designed that but once you get inside, it’s not bad at all. The rooms are kind of what you would expect in a tiny house. The worst thing is the bathroom has a sliding glass door and if someone is in there everyone will be awakened because it has an opaque glass door."

"Music was playing from the hotel lobby until 2AM and we were on the 7th floor. We were unable to go to sleep because of this. I called the front desk and the staff said they had no control over the volume of the music for their guests."

"Hotel is not as advertised with 24/7 shuttle service. Once we paid our way there it took over an hour to get us into a room because of I outer problems. The woman was very helpful and trying her best but it was almost 4 am and we were exhausted. I spoke with the manager in the morning about our troubles and he stated he could not offer any refunds due to booking with a 3rd party. After almost 1.5 of trying to reach the right person and being hung up several times they offered a credit for$25. I...

"Really an awesome location but the absolute highlight is the incredible staff. Just made everything an absolute pleasure and you’re just a short couple blocks to the very lively Strand which was a lot of fun. This was our first trip to Galveston and I wouldn’t consider anywhere else. "

"My kids absolutely loved the pool. The rooms were definitely dated, but clean. The garden had a giant chess game with many missing and broken pieces. Breakfast was not self serve, and the staff there didn’t seem very happy to be there. If you go in with expectations of it not being fancy, you will be fine. The pictures online are somewhat misleading and make the property look a lot nicer than it actually is. The location was great, and was right along the beach. "
