"Spacious Room with a Nice Ocean View, but More Like an Airbnb Experience We had a pleasant stay overall. The room was very spacious and had a partial view of the ocean, which was a nice bonus. I also really appreciated the water filter and the very large fridge, which made the room especially convenient for a longer stay. Check-in was smooth, but there are a few things to be aware of. The front desk is not open past 10 PM, so if you’re arriving later, you need to reach out to the hotel in advance. They provided us with a code for a self check-in, which worked well. Check-out is also done on your own. The hotel operates more like an Airbnb in some ways, including having rules about separating your trash before leaving. Cleaning is not provided daily but they do leave fresh towels hung on your door daily. One thing I would definitely recommend planning for: there is no iron or ironing board in the room or provided. If you’re staying here, bring clothes that don’t need ironing—or be prepared to get creative! Overall, the spacious room, partial ocean view, water filter, and huge fridge were great features. Just be aware that the experience is more self-service and Airbnb-like than a traditional full-service hotel."

Bad I didn’t know the hotel was surrounded by an empty lot and a half-demolished park; it could be a visual disturbance. The room was a little bit outdated. I saw duct tape patch at the ceiling. "This is already a strong review—warm, specific, and credible. I’d mainly smooth a few phrases and tighten the breakfast/location sections: Anook means “cozy”… and our stay was COZY! The staff was courteous and helpful, the hotel and facilities were clean, and our room was exactly as pictured and described. We booked the Deluxe Junior Suite and found it comfortable, spacious enough for our needs, and a perfect fit for our stay. Earlier in our trip, we had stayed at another hotel in Haeundae that did not meet our expectations, so Anook Resort & Spa was a very welcome change. If you enjoy a simple Korean/Asian-style breakfast, I recommend the breakfast buffet. Booking breakfast in advance as part of your hotel package saves about 25%. There were also baked goods and fruit available. The hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the main Haeundae shopping area and the beach, with a large variety of restaurants, shops, and conveniences nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay at Anook again when we return to Busan!"
