"We only spent one night at the Lord Nelson Hotel, but it was exactly the experience we were looking for. The location is very central and walkable to the waterfront. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The toiletries provided in the room smelled great and the mini-fridge meant you could keep things cold if you needed to. The service was accommodating and I would stay here again when visiting Halifax. "

"I was so glad to have stayed at this hotel because it was centrally located and within walking distance to all of the tourist sites in Halifax. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was super duper clean. The 2 QN beds room we stayed in was a great set-up for 3 adults M-F. The beds themselves were so plush and cozy, I had a better night's sleep than staying home. Beautiful bathroom and in-room safe and mini fridge round out the amenities. We didn't avail ourselves...
"Parking is offsite and a bit of a walk through the mall and across the walkway, but there is space right in front of the hotel for loading/unloading and if you can find space near the entry of the parking garage it's not bad at all. By far the most reasonably priced hotel near the waterfront and close to transit. This is the second time I've stayed here and it's my go-to hotel when I'm in Halifax. Nice rooms, friendly staff, and very walkable to everything you want to do. "

"Loved our stay. Clean rooms. Modern looking. Massive rooms so that a family has room to move without being stuck together. The breakfast buffet is unbelieveable . Almost like staying at places abroad. Would stay longer if I could. Definitely book if your coming to Halifax and you want to be near but away from the tourist craziness. "
