Guo Ji Yi Yuan Hotel

"This was a very nice hotel, at a wonderful location. This building was formerly a "Crowne Plaza" property, and has a layout similar to what you will find at most Embassy Suites, with a large interior courtyard, and interior glass elevators. The staff was extremely helpful, throughout my stay, including the gentleman at the front desk to assisted with my setup of my Alipay app. The room was surprisingly large, and everything (except the safe) worked perfectly. The first floor courtyard also contained a small convenience store, as well as a fruit / vegetable store, and a hot-pot restaurant. It is also across the street from the northern end of the Wangfujing Street strolling district, with many malls, stores and restaurants within a few minutes walk. All in all, I would highly recommend."

"Good location, nice staff and excellent service. The breakfast buffet was a big plus to us. The only thing I was not impressed was the airport drop off service. The driver was not professional at all (plate number ending 35335). The car was 15 minutes later than our scheduled pickup time. The driver never got out of the car to help us with the luggage loading. The hotel staff was helping instead. The driver was eating tomato and cucumbers with one hand driving the entire ride. After we got to the airport, he continued eating and never communicated or got out of the car to help. I was very pleased with everything this hotel offered except the airport ride."
