Dim lights might be romantic but a dressing table with a proper lamp so you can see what you look like is essential! Our signature room was amazing, very clean, large bathroom, water bottles replaced every day and every amenity necessary. Restaurant was fabulous, with a great , varied menu. Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. "Due to a wedding in the property, which we were not warned about (apparently Hotel can't contact Expedia customers), we got very little sleep. Some of the wedding guests decided to have their own party/social event between 2:30 AM - 5:30 AM meaning we got virtually no sleep. Rang reception to inform them of the noise at 3.45am. "My room was very clean and it was easy to obtain supplies if needed. The housekeeping team was friendly and the quality of their work was excellent. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice although I would have preferred the option of fried or poached eggs and some hash browns. All the staff were helpful and friendly."
