The one light was a side light not good enough to read by the reception on TV was terrible also there was not a light over the mirror in bathroom every thing else was very good and staff exceptional and ever-increasing assist"

"This is a very well located hotel with stylishly furnished rooms and very comfortable beds. The kitchenettes in the rooms are handy - and there is a tesco express across the road. However, the first room we were allocated had an absolutely terrible damp smell. Luckily we were able to reach management via phone (despite it being 10pm) and they gave us a different room, which smelt fresh. "On the plus side, the bathroom was very clean. On the downside, there was no hot water in the shower. There was no alarm clock, or any clock, anywhere. There were no kleenex. The ceiling in the bedroom had water damage. The "hotel" had no staff. There was a number to call with questions, but nobody answered. Breakfast had to be ordered at booking, but they didn't tell you that at booking, but you could only book breakfast at a time no one else booked. Overall, not very welcoming -- when...

"The room was really clean, a bit small but really nice. Parking was easy, within a few minutes walk from hotel. Kim was lovely, she made us feel really welcome. Its a shame that they dont do breakfast anymore but we took cereal and also went to wetherspoon which was just down the road. We had a fabulous 3 days."

"Overall atmosphere was one of the best experienced. A 3 night stop. A busy , successful country pub, restaurant, party venue does create a few problems of wear. Which will need addressing fairly soon. Certainly recommend."
