"Rooms, pool, hot tub, breakfast & staff were all great."

"The only good thing about our stay was that the bed was comfortable and my daughter liked the arcade. Their "continental breakfast" consisted of waffles, cereal, yogurt, and on one of the 2 days we stayed, there were muffins as well. There was no phone in the room, however, when we used our cell phone to call the front desk to request light bulbs, we were immediately placed on hold anyway. The pool was too crowded to swim in, because anyone can pay to swim in it, instead of just being reserved for hotel guests. And, the pool is only open until 9. The bathroom door in our room didn’t lock, and there was no switch for the exhaust fan. The diverter for the shower was hooked up wrong, so the hot water was cold and cold was hot. There was trash on the floor in the hallways. They appear to have spent all of the money on the pool, and minimal on the actual hotel. Disappointing to say the least."

"Room was filthy finger prints on mirror and window trash around on the floor. And housekeeping didnt stop by we had to ask for towels and toilet paper. The staff was kind. But the property itself is in disrepair. I do not plan to ever stay here again. "

"We have stayed in Americinn in the past and have never encountered any bad. This time was an exception. We checked in about 8:00pm and laid down about 9:30. Soon pounding upstairs started. I was able to go to sleep, but my wife said it went on till about 1:30. We mentioned it to the manager prior to leaving the motel at 5:30. She said she would give us refund or part refund by since it went through a separate source other then Americinn. they could not. We are more concerned with finding what happened and it fixed. The Managert said she had no idea or knowledge of who was poundinbg. Paul Beyer."

"Very cool hotel. Friendly staff and nice rooms. Our shower drain was not maintained well but that was the only issue. "

"We booked a suite with a fireplace and jetted tub for the night. At first impressions the room seemed nice, but the fireplace didn’t work and the hot water heater must have been undersized because there wasn’t even enough hot water to fill the tub to make the temperature warmer than Luke warm. Another odd thing is that the suites are detached from the main hotel so you have to go outside to go from your room to get breakfast or to use the other amenities. It wouldn’t be a big deal but Iowa in March the weather is pretty cold in the morning. The breakfast was nice and so was the staff. "

"Warm cozy Northwoods atmosphere. Desk clerk was very nice and helpful. The outdoor fire ring was awesome. The pool although small, my daughter still had a good time in it. Our suite was clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was very filling and coffee hot. 10/10 would definitely come back again. "
