"The room was clean. The bathroom light didn't work and we were told we would have to use the communal bathroom instead. Couldn't open the window. Room had air vent from kitchen outside window."

The bar was well stocked and plenty of room at the bar, surrounding tables and restaurant. The staff were very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. "The room was dirty and had infestation of bed bugs , we also had been charged twice as the deposit did not get from Expedia. This is the worst stay I have had at a hotel for many years I definitely would never stay or recommend this hotel ever."

"Really liked staying in a 356 year old hotel/pub. It was probably my favorite place on our 1 month journey in the UK. It was close to town and had very friendly staff. It was unique and I really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely come back."

"Our room was immediately above the kitchen and the extractor fan was turned on at 6 in the morning, vibrating through the building. We had occasion to complain about noise of "techno" music from a speaker in the kitchen on one occasion and the matter was resolved immediately"

"Shower had a draining issue and in room fan was pretty noisy (hence we couldn't use it). Nonetheless, overall it was a decent stay."
