"The Mansion is an incredible experience and historically significant property, having survived the 1900 hurricane in Galveston. The property has been lovingly preserved and the staff were exceptional. On arrival we were met by Aaron who took great care and time to ensure we had a wonderful stay. "This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table....

"An adorable hotel that has a lovely mix of retro design and modern features and nice front desk people but.. PARKING or lack thereof practically ruins the whole vibe especially when there is a live music event on the weekend - you'll have to park across off the busy seawall road and feel uneasy about the safety of your car with all the late nighters whizzing by. NOISE level was high with a room facing the pool (looks like all their rooms do) and the pool seemed overcrowded for its smaller size....

"Jollynn was incredibly flexible and accommodating during our stay. We had a wedding to attend on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. and requested an early check-in so we could get ready. She graciously accommodated our request at no additional charge and even met us at the property to personally check us in. "This was a beautiful and impeccably maintained high‑end apartment. The ample parking made it easy to access the seawall, and the location is perfect—within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. The host was very accommodating, communicated clearly throughout my stay, and even went out of his way to share great restaurant recommendations and local things to do. I highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone visiting the area."

"The property was great. I loved all of the amenities my children enjoy the complementary breakfast. My older child would have liked a deeper and larger pool, but my younger nine-year-old enjoyed playing in the pool. Our room had a great view of the pleasure Pierre and beach. The staff was excellent very helpful very kind and courteous. I enjoyed my stay and I am looking forward to coming back and booking again at the same location."
