"The Historic Wailuku Inn was absolutely lovely! The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. We appreciated beach towels being provided. Free parking was also a plus! The biggest perk was Ian the chef! He was incredible!!! His food was delicious and he was so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed getting to know him and all the care he took in providing for the guests. Ian was truly the cherry on top!"

"Crater Rim Cabin is an amazing and special place to stay. It's a unique cabin, incredibly clean and cozy, and Jim and Barry are the most thoughtful hosts. The grounds are gorgeous and you can't beat the 5-minute drive to Volcanoes National Park. Our every need was anticipated, from fresh drinking water to an extra fan for the bathroom (it's a wood cabin in a rainforest, after all!) and heated blankets on the large, comfortable bed. "This was an amazing house, with about 4-5 rooms all to ourselves. There was full kitchen and cooking facilities, and some snacks and cooking materials (milk, sauces, etc) had been left for us to use. Each room was an Aladdin's cave of souvenirs and oddities, attached to the wall or ceiling. There was an amazing little garden, with a pond, which had some very noisy frogs in it. There was veranda and porch, so we could sit outside and have a drink. It was like living in a hobbit house or...
