"We stayed at this hotel for three days, and while the location is absolutely fantastic—close to plenty of dining options and shopping areas—the experience was sadly let down by our rooms. We booked three rooms, and all of them were on the ground floor, right next to the swimming pool. "Not Worth it, Price Like 4-5 hotel. It Like motel. .Very noisy during the day and night, people are passing your corridor to go to lobby and dragged their luggages . NO elevator, I need to carry All luggages to level 1 downstairs. Staffs helpful and friendly. I booke d for 4 adults. bed like queen but a bit small. Shouldn’t be for for 4 adults. No kettle and you need to pick up all glass, tea and coffee in receptions., bring your own water bottle as well. "

"We liked the room and liked the location - just steps to the Farmer's Market. This is more of a note to Expedia than to the Hilo Downtown Inn. This is the second place we have rented through Expedia that didn't tell us we'd need to negotiate stairs. My wife has trouble navigating stairs. I think the property and Expedia have an ethical and perhaps legal obligation to inform potential renters about the stairs."
