"Located in the center of Hilo 5-15 minutes away from everything, 45 minutes from Kilauea lookout. The building is older and the lower floors are private businesses but you basically only go to the elevator and the coffee shop. The unit was nice, recently renovated everything kitchen to bathroom. The downfall was the A/C in one of the rooms just broke down and a part needed to be ordered but other than that unit was clean, nice, and enjoyable. "The view was amazing and the condo had a large lanai with comfortable furniture to enjoy it. Everything was clean, and well stocked, including the kitchen for cooking meals. The building itself is a bit dated, but the condo was comfortable and the bedding, towels, etc. all felt fairly new. There was no AC, but the fans helped keep the temperature comfortable. "

"Kitchen had all the tools and the grill had propane. All the literature was easy to understand and posted in plain view. The rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean - it was a beautiful home away from home. Parking was easy and the staff were so friendly."

"What stands out the most is watching the sunsets while standing out on the narrow deck. Place was so clean and ready for our stay when we entered. Thank you Grand and your cleaners for your excellent service. If there was one thing that might need to improve our the mats. There are 3 main mats (kitchen, bathroom and entry) are very thin and prone to buckling everything we walk over them. "Everything was as pictured. The condo had all the comforts of home except for an in-unit washer and dryer and an air fryer. There were washers and dryers on the property, but use of each cost either $2.50 or $3.50, I forget which. Detergent and fabric softener is provided in the unit if you do pay to use the washers and dryers. There were 3 slow/rice cookers. One of those can be swapped out for an air fryer :)."

"The house was very unique and interesting, and with a lot of space. It was also close to the ocean which made it nice. The cochi frogs were kind of loud at night but it wasn't a problem for me at all. "
