"The room was the most poorly equipped condo we have ever stayed in. Very few kitchen utensils, tiny skillets, tiny coffee pot. No food storage bags or covered containers. Rusty freezer. The outside facilities were nice, clean pool and hot tub, nice gas grills. Not enough umbrellas for shade. Stayed in E3, below street level. Would not recommend."

"The condos are in need of a renovation for sure. Each one is decorated differently the room we were given had mold in the bathrooms and lots of termite issues. On the up side the cleaning staff took care of all of it. The front desk was amazing and very helpful. It was definitely nice to have a kitchen when you travel with children. I think we might try another part of the island next time but all in all it’s not a bad deal for your money. "

"The condo was dated. 2” Ceramic tile counters kitchen and bath. Wall to wall carpet dirty. Old kitchen appliances. Limited kitchen ware. Expect to bring everything, salt, plastic wrap, supplies. No beach chairs. Patios outside were nice; views from all windows were exceptional. Pool was comfortable with lots of loungers, umbrellas, tables and chairs. We had no contact with any staff, except friendly gardeners. "

"Recently, my husband & I stayed at a condo name Casa De Emdeko in Kona, Big Hawaii Island for 18 days. It was a clean and beautiful place where we were able to relax, unwind and rejuvenate while exploring the island. "Incredibly good deal for the price. No elevator but my unit was a mini apartment with sofa bed, kitchenette stocked with utensils, cookware and real plates and glasses. Fridge/freezer was much larger than the under counter units in bigger chain hotels. There was even a washer/ dryer. Better than an Extended Stay in that regard. Hotel manager was easily accessible by phone to answer questions and deal with a complicated booking situation. Got it resolved quickly and extremely favorably. Parking...

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. The rooms were clean and all of the rooms had incredible views. This place is close to the farmers market and lots of restaurants. Parking was assigned to the room and it was safe. "

"My parents and I stayed in room 309 for 3 nights. Overall, we have a great vacation time here. Good: 1) Great location, walking distance to the restaurants and grocery stores. 2) Extraordinary views from the lanai, even better than expected. Although we live in the north-facing room, the side view of the ocean is also great, and the lagoon and mountain give more diversity. 3) Provide everything we need, from a fully equipped kitchen to all of the beach supplies. "For the price of the room it was very nice. The room was clean and had lots of useful things for the beach in it like towels and beach chairs. The electrical features in the room were a bit weird and probably not up to code but they all worked once you figured them out. Overall it was great!"
