Great hotel on western island, walking distance from the ferry and town center. Spacious room and wonderful breakfast. Hot tub was definitively a bonus.

The Westman Islends are an amazing area and a must do in Iceland. The hotel exceeded our expectations and the manager was unbelievably helpful. Only 2 disadvantaged that would not stop me from returning. Although the beds are very comfortable there is barely enough space to get out of bed:) and that could be a problem for heavier people especially when using the bathroom at night. The second issue is that they do not offer complimentary coffe and sugar in the room . We had our own coffee but...

A must stay, we stayed here during a tour of the south and out of the five places we stayed this was by far our favourite. It is clean, comfortable with a fantastic location and very warm hosts.

Peaceful. Easy and well equipped for a family. Easy to find and a great location as a base for many sights.

Very quiet location. Stayed at the cottage, was spotlessly clean, heated and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. Only thing to keep in mind, in the summer with constant light, the living room sofa is not completely shaded so if you need, be prepared with eye covers. And when the rain is relatively heavy it is well heard.

Absolutely amazing property in a stunning location with views of the waterfalls and mountains. Perfect size for a family with kids - although for 4 adults it might be a squeeze. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including dish soap and dishwasher tablets. Robes were a nice touch of luxury. The cabin was quite hot on our arrival but it soon cooled after we opened some windows. I did think breakfast was on the expensive side but when I saw what they delivered all became clear! We...

Beautiful interior, excellent communication. The facilities were excellent and the small touches really made this property stand out. Would return for the views alone but the apartment made the experience even better. What a great find!!!

Really cute place. Lovely room. Clean, good shower, great heating. Comfy beds. Great breakfast: eggs, bacon, beans, toast, yogurt, sweet waffles. We had dinner one night, the salmon was delicious. Beef pasta was dry and lukewarm but, to be honest, we were happy to have dinner there rather than driving elsewhere. Friendly staff. Reception is not always manned but they tell you their hours and unless you have pressing issues/questions it’s fine. Overall great place.

My 3 night stay here was superb. The area is quite rural (10 mins down a tarmac road off the main 1 road) and it is amongst lovely flat farmland. It's only 15 mins away from the supermarket/petrol facilities in the little town of Hvolsvollur. It was a great location for day trips in the area, I did the golden circle on one day, the waterfalls/glacier/beaches/Vik the next and finally drove the 3.5 hours to the glacier lagoon at Jokulsarlon.
