"Suite with bunk beds was great, although room wasn’t super clean. Bathroom sink had layer of grime and visible debris on carpets, couch had a rip in fabric (was difficult to report this to hotel). Nice balcony with room, rooftop terrace was beautiful, onsen great! Check in was a bit limited. You need to add your passport info the day before/prior to arrival, get QR code and code for door. Then on arrival, use iPad scan QR code to talk remotely to a person to verify your id. That seemed to only be available from 3-10pm, so don’t arrive too late. Free drinks, snacks, soft serve icecream between 5-9pm (my kids loved)! Not a ton of restaurants near hotel but did have a family mart across the street. "

"We enjoyed our first time stay at Atami but didn’t see anything “premium” about this Onsen. The breakfast and dinner buffet was satisfying."

"Room clean and staff were very helpful but the stairs to my room on the top floor was hard and the public bath was too small. I picked this place for the shuttle and the public bath /onsen but was disappointed, return shuttle did not run at 8:30 am so had to ask for a taxi back to the station to meet a friend coming from Tokyo to play golf. "Despite the age of the hotel, it was very clean. The ocean views were lovely. The included breakfast was excellent- a large selection of choices. I only wish that there were laundry facilities in the hotel. "

"Got there one hour early sitting in the lobby without good lighting and fresh air. That’s ok. The entrance of the room is not clean with 8-9 dark spots on the floor. Needs to be cleaned before next customer. Customer must know the room has no shower, has to go to public pool for bathing, that’s Ok for me. I didn’t have problem. The inn is very close to station walking 8-9 min if you are very healthy otherwise the stairs climbing could be challenging. Only one face towel and shower towel in the room. General speaking it needs lot of improvements. "

"We had to pay to use the public bath but we wnded up not using it was not to the best standard. Very convenient for walking to the center of the town. It had a few parking spaces and we were grateful for that too. However it is a pay service. "
