"We loved staying at Pension San Ignacio Centro. It is a small family-style pension with good clean basic amenities. It is located in a quieter part of town, next to the beautiful cathedral and several local restaurants below and around the corner. But, the highlight of staying here is Javier, the concierge/manager. He is fabulous and treated us like family. He walked us around the neighborhood introducing us to the best places and cafés. "The host was very nice but spoke fast in his broken English so it was difficult to understand him. The room was great with a little balcony. Everything was so clean and the bathroom nice and big. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, a variety of teas and cake which was delicious all complimentary."
