"I didn't personally stay at this hotel but I got feedback from my son and his father. They said the property, building itself was clean but not in a very nice clean area. Abandoned buildings and burnt down hotel nest to it. The hotel smelled fine but the room didn't smell the greatest. Old carpet flooring everywhere and in the rooms the carpets were dingy and stinky. Beds not the most comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful very friendly their whole stay. Breakfast was 7/10 normal...

"everything here was great, from the hot tub and pool to our room, the common areas, our bathroom, hot water, heating/ac system, everything went perfectly. Highly recommended"

"One of our bedside tables had dried used contacts stuck to them. Clearly the staff forgot to clean the tables. Our room had us up all night because the room above us - anytime they moved all we could hear were squeaky floors like we were staying in an old war home. When I brought both issues up to the staff they said on that’s horrible and then offered no solutions."

"The Allen Park Motor Lodge is showing it's age, but it met my needs as a comfortable place to stay for a couple of weeks while I moved into a new apartment."

"It was not bad, the only complaint about the room was is the shower sprayed water everywhere. It could be fixed easily. Room seemed clean, no bugs. We were happy to have landed there."

"Older hotel but clean. Staff was friendly. They had a large fire earlier and I’m sure it hurts the attraction when driving by. It did not affect my stay at all."

"My worst experience at this hotel was on the first day. I smelled a strong odor of alcohol in my room, specifically on the sixth floor, and also in the hallway. I was worried about my children because the smell was very strong from night until morning. The bathrooms weren't clean; the water in the sinks didn't flow easily. It was a very bad experience. And very annoying noises and sounds of construction work"
