"Great spot away from the busy Tokyo area. The rooms and the hotel is special in its own way and has a lot of character. Felt like being in my grandparents home. "Old Showa style minimalistic ryokan, but the room for 5 was spacepus (double room) and the tatami beds and beddings arw comfortable. Self-service to put the futon (which was no problem for us). Power plugs and Wifi were abundant. We were fine with steps but for eldery or disabled it may be a challenge. The hot spring bath was nice. The temperature may be on a hot side but i think it is pretty standard. The tub was indeed made of wood (I assume hinoki).The place seemed to have a fair number of...

"国民宿舎タイプの宿泊施設で、建物自体は古い感じがところどころに伺えるが、お風呂の蛇口を除いて快適に維持されている。利用した4人用の和室も快適なもの。食堂で供される朝食は、小鉢が多く満足できた。 部屋、温泉、食堂からの浅間山の眺望は素晴らしい。 場所は、小諸駅から川を挟んだ反対側という場所は眺望が良い分、車利用なら問題ないが、駅からの歩きは厳しいかもしれない。 小諸周辺に滞在する場合、また利用したい。"
