"The elevator is broken and we were put on the 3rd floor. Room is old and outdated. Carpet torn, toilet ran all night. Hallway smelled like weed."

As someone who travels a lot and also carries a pistol regularly, I didn’t even leave the car, cancelled my reservation, and got a nicer place. It took 15 minutes to cancel my reservation because the front desk guy was an Indian who didn’t understand English"

" I checked in and after 30 min had to leave and find another place to stay, the bad smell in the room was terrible, the front desk tried to help me with a spray and it didn't work, i bought one spray didn't work either, not even a plastic cup in the room, dirty in a ver very bad condition, i can't understand why this place still opened and having guets coming over, this is unsane for expedia and for extended stay chain hotels, i'll appreaciate a reasonable answer to this maater"

"Everything was ok except for the breakfast. The buffet is 21:00 a person but it’s the same thing as complimentary at other hotels. There was only one staff member with a lot of guest . Needless to say. The service was terrible."

I highly recommend this hotel for families touring the Duke Campus or just visiting the Durham area. Another wonderful perk is the free shuttle service all around Duke’s campus, so you can park your car at the hotel and enjoy the convenience of the drop off and pick up service to your desired location."
