"The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm."

Some aspects of maintenance could be improved, but it is always a challenge with these country homes, they have the charm, but not everything is impecable. "Great location for exploring Salisbury as everything was in walking distance. The hotel was spotless and very well looked after. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, with nothing too much trouble. Rooms were fantastic with great air conditioning, much appreciated on the hottest weekend of the year.
