"Stairs to the rooms were quite steep but the room was great. Comfortable bed and lovely to have fresh milk and homemade cookies. Unfortunately the shower could do with some attention as water was really slow to run away.Good selection at breakfast, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Could do with either cleaning or replacing the carpet on stairs and landing as it’s very stained and does them no favours in terms of appearance. Overall great stay and would recommend."

"We had a large clean room over looking the river. The bed was extra large and comfortable. The room has a good size en suite. Sleeping with the window open and hearing the water is very soothing. It's a nice walk into town along the town path. There is limited parking but it's free. Breakfast was very substantial and freshly cooked to order. The restaurant manager was very helpful and friendly. We plan to stay again soon. "

"We were only staying one night while we were working in the area. The room was large, comfortable and clean. There is a bar which is OK (there are nice pubs a short drive away as well) and the breakfast was a standard hotel buffet but of good quality.
