"We stayed here for one night, half board. The location is fantastic, with amazing views and a short walk to the lakeside. We enjoyed both meals very much, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bars and restaurants were nicely furnished and clean, and our room was a good size. We had a lovely weekend break and would definitely stay here again."

"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and lovely, the staff were friendly and kind, and the breakfast was very filling and delicious. Also, the hotel has spacious parking, and it is not too far from Windermere station, the lake, or many restaurants and shops. Each is about a 10-15-minute walk away. "This was our first time staying at Autumn Leaves and it certainly won’t be our last! Rob and Tanya were both so warm and welcoming and could not have been more helpful. They recommended dinner places and more for us. We even got an adorable little Easter treat on Sunday morning! The rooms are lovely and cosy, and have everything you need. The photos on Expedia definitely showed a balcony on the ground floor which with elderly parents and a dog was why we chose it. "The location was the reason for choosing this property. It’s a 15 minute walk to where we hired a motorboat. There are only 3 car park spaces at the hotel itself for guests. If they’re full, you have to park across the road by the glass bus stop. I managed to park at the hotel, but someone blocked me in. Luckily, I’m nimble and could manoeuvre to leave the hotel. "We were returning customers to Low wood bay @ the winander club. We were slightly disappointed to see that spa access was no longer included in Winander rooms but it is a beautiful spa, so we paid the extra £140. We were disappointed to find out if you wanted to borrow some slippers for the spa, they were also chargeable now. And on check out I was very shocked to see they were also now charging £12 per day to park your car if you hadn’t booked directly with them. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed...
