"Clean, good location, parking. Could be more updated."

"Overall for the price it was ok. They will not clean your room unless you request it. The pool is very small, but adequate. The hotel has a very nice café with good food. My biggest complaint was the noise from the street, hotel, and hotel staff very early in the morning. Doors are very loud and heavy and slam. They need to fix a A/C units, one made a very Hunger Games siren noise."

"The room was clean but smelled musty and sour. The coffee maker did not work. There were 2 sets of towels for 3 people. The drapes were so very dirty!"

"I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a good experience. The service was fast, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the amenities were nice. There were a few issues during my stay. The shower gel dispenser in my shower was empty, although I understand it can be difficult for housekeeping to know when these need refilling. I also found that the shower water was cold when I tried to shower around 8:00 a.m. Additionally, on the first night there was quite a bit of loud banging noise...

"Everything was amazing"

"We were looking forward to rest and relax by the rooftop pool the second day of our stay, but there was a huge party that afternoon. (The hotel lets non-hotel guests use their pool. Had we known this, we would have stayed elsewhere.) They started setting up for the event in the morning and it was loud. We could hear it from our room. Definitely not the vibe we were hoping for. There wasn’t a coffee maker in our hotel room. It took over 30 minutes to get seated and order a coffee from the cafe...

"Love this hotel. It’s convenient, walking distance to Universal. The exercise room, pool and games are lots of fun!"

"This hotel was great for the weekend. A walk to Hollywood tourist attractions and a short uber ride to Lake Hollywood Park, Venice beach and more. The hotel itself was very nice and clean. The bartenders were nice to talk to and have a night cap before we went up for the night. Would stay here again!"

"Housekeeping services were wonderful and so responsive when we need more towels, etc. The pool side bar staff were so friendly and provided great service, too. The lobby staff were very friendly and helpful when getting taxi services to places."

"Great hotel, staff super friendly, the rooms are huge and clean. The only downside is the noise coming from outside in the wee hours of the morning - fire trucks, police cars, hot rods, motorcycles. You hear them all - not sure why it happens in this location but it does. The hotel left us ear plugs on the nightstand and I now understand why they do that. But if the noise wasn't an issue, I would be coming back for sure."

"The room was clean with the cleaner coming in every day unless you put do not disturb on your door. Hotel is 5-10 minute walk from Hollywood Walk of Fame and close to Universal (10 minute drive). Breakfast was simple (cereal, waffles, toast, bagels with juice, water or hot drinks) but it was nice and set us up for the day. Room was a decent size with plenty of storage and free toiletries (soap, shampoo, body lotion)."
