"This is my 2nd year coming and will be back . The property is very clean staff is excellent and friendly. Beach is cleaned every morning for any debris. The buffet has a little something for everyone. I did not do the ala carts this time but last year they were excellent. When staying at the Reggae you have access to the sister resort riu montego but not riu palace. Montego is fairly large also adult only i prefer the smaller riu Reggae everything is close and not a far walking distance. Rooms are maintained daily and anything you need is a phone call away. Minibar is separate from housekeeping which gives you you basics of pop beer and water along with a dispenser of gin vodka rum and scotch. Again is just a phone call to get restocked 24 hrs a day. Every room has a balcony and coffee maker along with blowdryer shampoo conditioner and hand soap they don't have lotion so may want to bring some. I had fun with my housekeeper with a little origami towel war which makes there day a little better as they are working long hours everyday.there is no atm but a short 3 min walk takes you to a bank with atms. They have a jerk hut on the beach that serves fresh jerk chicken with some sides that was delicious but be careful if you cant do spice choose bbq over jerk sauce as that also has a mild bite. Also dont leave your dirty dishes by you or you will get swarmed by the bird haha..couple people found out the hard way. Resort also has designed smoking outside which is clearly marked. "

"It was very clean. The food was amazing everywhere we want to eat. The food was 10 out of 10. The rooms were huge and beautiful. I gave an average rating for the hotel just because it was under a lot of construction, but it was very beautiful and the staff I feel could’ve been nicer and smiled more. Sometimes I would catch people rolling their eyes and just being very dry, but when we went on tours the staff on the tours and excursions were amazing very friendly very nice. I do have to say, though the stuff that I’m saying was very dry was in the buffet only everywhere else they were good and amazing and the energy was there"
