I didn't even stay here didn’t say anything about calling or anything. I had car problems couldnt make it to the hotel they charged me the full amount and then got it to half the price they still took money from me not to even stay there completely not right. And take peoples money there is a ROBIN that runs the front desk completely rude hangs up phone on people has major addittude. Never go there they over chrage for rooms and if you dont show up they charge you anyways!

The only hotel in a small town with a pool and hot tub and they were broken and didn't kniw until we went to use them. House keeping knocked on our door the next morning loudly and we were still sleeping and had not checked out. Staff and service were minimal.

We enjoyed our stay here--great value for the price. Everything was clean and in good shape. Breakfast was pretty decent and staff were very friendly. Humboldt is a nice town.

We were very frustrated to be charged $40 for a pet fee at a “pet friendly “ hotel. There is no reference to this on either Hotels.com or on their own website. I would like to know that ahead of time so I can make a choice to stay there or find somewhere else. They also charge a refundable $250 fee to your credit card in case of damages. When you walk into your “pet friendly “ room there is a laminated sign about cleaning up after your pet on one side and the very rigid pet policy contract that you just signed during check in on the other. This hotel clearly does not want your fur baby in their hotel but are required by their brand. Beyond that, when we came in the pool was open, when we went down to use it there was a sign saying it was closed for maintenance, before pool hours would have it close. The next morning, sign gone. To top it all off, ice cold showers! No hot water whatsoever! The hotel was clean and the front desk attendant who checked us out tried to be apologetic for our experience but this is definitely not a hotel we would ever stay at again.

Bad news first, the free breakfast wasn’t all that. It was better than the last hotel we stayed at, but it’s just repetitive. We were there three days and by the third day, we were looking for something else to eat instead. Good news, the room was very clean. The beds were also very comfortable. It’s close to a Hyvee grocery store, which was very convenient. Best news, the staff was so friendly and helpful! I loved each and every employee I talked to. They allow Wyndham members to check out late which was convenient also. I wish we would’ve had more time to swim in the huge indoor pool, but we ran out out of time. It looked amazing! I would stay here again on my next visit to Iowa. :)

There was not one thing wrong with The hotel. Room was clean, as was the whole place. Lobby was nice and staff were also nice. The outside was clean as well. Pool area was fantastic as was the hot breakfast!

Really nice!!
This is a really nice, small town, hotel. Friendly service, clean facilities. With two small kids I wished they had more available on site like snacks and milk. Outside of that our stay was great.

Reception could not find the two separate reservations and it took nearly a half hour and several people to get things worked out. I showed the reservation on my phone and showed that I had paid for the rooms. Finally a third worker was able to locate the reservation. There was never an apology so that was disappointing.
