"It’s an older place but really clean and well kept. The room was a good size and had a nice bathroom layout. It’s a great place to stay if you are going to the fair since there is an entrance gate directly across the street. The only non-positive comment regarding our room was that it was literally the last room in the back building next to the back street and there were some noisy trucks that traveled on that street in the mornings."

"Breakfast was good and everything clean. Limited fitness facilities, and the water pressure was too high. If you plan to use the sofa sleeper, two people don't really work because you roll to the center."

"The breakfast was okay but they never served bacon. The pool and hot tub needed to be cleaned. The gym was good enough with lots of cardio and free weights. They had a secret $12 a day parking fee that they didn’t mention until checking in."

"We had booked our stay at Paso Robles Inn and were offered a $96 upgrade to The Piccolo. The upgraded hotel rooms were so nice, very clean, beautifully decorated. That being said, if you stay at The Piccolo, you should know - the lobby is not staffed 24-hours, nor is valet, so it's difficult to get assistance when you need it. Also, the pool is quite separate from The Piccolo, so getting there in your bathing suit is not ideal. The fitness center is included in your stay, but it is at a fully...
