"We loved our stay in a glamping tent here. It was the perfect chill out between hiking the laugavegur and fimmvorduhals trails. The little sauna is great after hiking, the staff were so helpful and the trails in the area are fantastic. Walk the orange trail, the glacier views are amazing! "

"Hotel Loa is as great as all the previous reviews promised. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is lovely. They made it very easy to upgrade to a suite though we had prepaid for a triple room, and it was perfect to have the pullout sofa for our son in an open but separate room. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, lovely and modern. The lobby and bar have a nice, cozy loungey feel, with decent music playing. The bar had a good selection. Overall it was an excellent spot to break up a two day drive away from Reykjavik. I would absolutely stay there again!"
