"It was very nice place to stay, nice staff, clean room. I stayed in bridal suite and their jet bath was amazing!! Amenities were ok, I just hope there was a tissue paper in the bathroom. I definitely want to come back. Just one thing it was pet friendly community but there was only a few trash can and no poop bags., it’ll makes it better if they make a bit changes"

"Lovely, cozy, little cabin… I think the important thing to remember is that it is an old cabin…So some stuff, like the shower, could use a remodel… No complaints though, price was fair, everything works, has heating/ac, hot water, trails are about 1/2 hr walking distance, close to town center…My only suggestion would be to bring extra blankets. They also had this amazing complimentary tea which I will be buying more of. Would definitely book again."

"We stayed at Harvey House this past weekend April 18th and 19th. We were supposed to have stayed until the 20th but unfortunately my car had issues and we needed to go back home, sorry to say. The hotel and room were great, we stayed in the Oak suite which was roomy, light and very comfy. We looked out into the garden which was just as nature intended. Birds galore made it very special with their songs. Jan and her staff were so helpful, they laid out a wonderful breakfast, just the right type of food, fresh OJ, tea coffee, fruit, crossaints, breakfast quiche, cereal etc. Healthy food, not the buffet style hot meals laid out in huge chain hotels. Will we stay there again, absolutely! It's just a short walk to the main area of Idyllwild with lots of restaurants, coffee bars, a nice small museum, and a lot of the restaurants have live music which is an added bonus. I just wish our car didn't have to have issues, just our bad luck I guess. We highly recommend Harvey House and its staff 100%."

"We had a positive stay and found the Silver Pines Lodge to be a welcoming and charming place. It was fun to visit the main lodge space with an old piano, resources for travelers, and a fireplace. Some improvements we'd suggest in our room would be blackout curtains, bathroom counter space for toiletries, and better lighting for doing makeup. The bed was fairly comfortable but needed more substantial pillows. We loved the cozy fireplace heater and the charming decor! We also appreciated charging stations by both bedsides -- something we've found lacking in many hotel rooms. The wi-fi worked great, and it was a pretty quiet, peaceful and clean room. The location was close to everything! I think for the price, it was a good value and more unique than a standard hotel."

"Had a wonderful experience!! Cabin bigger than it looks, very clean, TONS of towels (which I respect), and it had all your basic needs. Communication from the hosts was easy and responsive! The location is absolutely perfect! Easy walk to town! The backyard is perfect for dogs but make sure to keep them leashed. We will absolutely be coming back!"
