"A little noisy 9-10 o’clock out in the 4th floor hallway. I had to check our door 3-4 times as I thought someone was trying to break-in. Nothing seen. May have been a guest in & out of their room not being considerate of others."

"My daughter and I recently stayed at the Grove Inn and found it very nice. There was consistent communication from the staff prior to check in (regarding access, parking, etc). The building is so cute, and very well maintained. The room was spotless. We also loved the convenient locations (we walked to Alamo Square to see the view, then walked to a nearby sushi restaurant and Salt and Straw). We would definitely stay again!"

"Very authentic San Francisco spot. We arrived at about 10pm. The owner had no spots left for parking, but guided me into a non-existent spot and gave me a parking pass. Got to see a movie like interaction outside the hotel. This hotel is incredible. I was delighted by the hotel owner who when my son left the key in the room at 11pm at night was kind and gave us another key. When we went to check out, he told my son he was his finest guest and gave him a fist bump. We would absolutely stay...

I appreciated the ice machine for our refilling our water bottles every day as we headed out to explore the city. Having our luggage held after checkout on our last day was also very helpful. (If you are showering and the motion sensor for the bathroom light times out, just open the shower door a bit and wave your hand)"
