"\the staff were universally helpful, especially at breakfast. the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was good. I did not find the restaurant for other meals suited my taste but that is an individual matter. There were not enough vegetables for my liking. My first room was hard for me to navigate but I was moved to a very satisfactory one. The car park and the lift were selling points for me initially but I have become comfortable there, so will be back, barring accidents."

12. Virgin Hotels Edinburgh

Pusat Kota Edinburgh

"First Class experience from start to finish! The Virgin company, hands down, knows what they are doing when it comes to travel and hospitality, coming from someone who was once an executive of a 5 star luxury brand. Virgin Edinburgh was such a vibe. The whole aesthetic is sexy, sultry and ever so inviting. You are immersed in intrigue at every turn with the eccentric decor and vibrancy of color throughout the hotel. The staff, First Class from the moment we were greeted at the door, to check-in,...

13. Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh

Tollcross

"The location of the hotel is "ok": it is a trek to the Royal Mile and other principal attractions of the city. The hotel is clean and the room is smartly designed, including coloured LEDs that can be used as night lights. But I'm livid to see the outdoor pool as the primary photograph and selling point of this hotel, only to be told it can be accessed only by paying an ADDITIONAL 47.50£ per person! We already paid $783CAD for a standard room: a warm pool would cost us another $200? Shame,...

15. Tigerlily

Pusat Kota Edinburgh

"Tigerlily Edinburgh Hotel is beautiful with great service from room maintenance to check in and out to restaurant staff. Could have easily been a 5 star rating. Our room #20 was NOT good, probably would have been a dealbreaker although we lived with its many issues because it was just easier for us to leave it than go through any hassle. Creaking floors (video attached), poor water pressure at the sink (video attached), weird light configuration, poor TV reception, torn curtains (pic attached),...
