"0/5 do not recommend. They put you in a room without a working A/C and then refuse to switch your room and give you a refund. Their solution? You leave, suck it up without an A/C or if you keep complaining or call them stupid they will call the police. The night auditor and general manager deserve to be fired. How do you put a pregnant woman, a diabetic elderly woman, and 4 small children in a room without A/C? Horrible. Don’t book here. Read reviews. We’re not the first to experience this."

"Great location on Galveston seawall. Only bad points hot water is not very hot at all and no microwave in your room. Great pizza spot in front of room, but no way to reheat later unless you want to go to lobby every time. Other than that, a pretty good stay for the price."

"The room was spacious and clean. My only complaints are about the bathroom. The toilet paper was very thin. They could get better quality and people wouldn’t use as much. Also the bathroom light automatically turn on the fan. Not great when you go at night and wake up your spouse. These are small grievances and overall this is a great place to stay while on The Island."

"Beware of the huge cockroaches! We were packing our things up from a short overnight stay, and as we were we saw a cockroach that was about 3 inches long crawl up our curtain and another crawling towards the desk in the room. I’m completely sick. They have not emailed me back or anything after spending $250 for the night?! Disgusted to say the least."
