"Room are small, but that is fine when you travel. The bed is best suited for one or couples. The walk is reasonable from the station roo. Host is also very responsive as we had two back to back reservations and they responded quickly for us to stay in the same room. Would definitely recommend to others."

"Yubune was a fantastic place to rest on our way along the Shimanami Kaidō. The property is so clean you’ll think it was opened yesterday. The staff are super helpful; they not only recommended a fantastic yakitori place for dinner, but walked us there. And the onsen is truly something else - beautiful tiled mural and just an overall fantastic space. It helps that each day the men’s and women’s onsens switch so you can get to experience both. "Location and staff were great but amenities were lacking. No toothbrush? Check-in time only between 4-8 pm? Property had no onsen? These are pretty standard items for Japanese hotels and for the price, they should have been provided."

"We stayed at the Azumi for one night. After a dreary day of cycling, we were looking forward to some pampering. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was gorgeous - large and serene with nice appointments like a shoe dryer for wet days (genius!). The food at the on-site restaurant is very good."

"It was a fine stay. The room was cool with the projector for viewing and we loved the souvenir machine. We slept comfortably and the hotel was quiet. The room was fairly clean and water pressure was great for the shower. Free bottles of water in the room was nice as well. However the cafe closed early, the ice cream machine wasn't working and the rooftop bar was closed. The property had dust bunnies throughout and staff was sparse which made it feel a bit like a ghost town. "
