"Our stay at Risonare was awful from start to finish. When we arrived they told us there would be a significant extra fee for our 1-year-old to stay with us (I was pretty sure we booked the reservation with a child included, but regardless, this is the only hotel out of 6 that we stayed at in Japan that charged extra for a child under 2 years old). "This place is amazing. This place was built in 2025, so everything is brand new. It is close enough to Universal Studios Japan, but not in the middle of the large and loud crowds, as well as close enough to get into the other areas of Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto.
