"Room was comfortable even though I had the compact room. Totally adequate. .Toilet rim was a little dirty but likely a small miss by cleaning staff. Small shower stall but great shower! Very convenient location. Had parking which is a great feature given its very central location. Great bar too. Would stay again."

"My wife and I had a decent stay at the Royal Marine, though it was a bit of a mixed bag. The building looks magnificent, and although a little tired, has fantastic potential with some TLC. Our room was spotless, and we enjoyed paying extra for the sea view; watching the ferry terminal activity was actually quite relaxing. However, the hotel is feeling a little run-down and in need of some modernising. We also found the breakfast disappointing, which let the experience down. Whilst we enjoyed our visit to Dunoon, I doubt we'll be rushing back anytime soon."

"The Guest house was good value with well stocked kitchen. My room was of a good condition and layout. The only issue I had was my shared bathroom was down one level requiring me to lick my room each time I used it. Overall great location, reasonable price, excellent staff."

"The hotel is very out dated, The rooms are small and are not well taken care of. I would not recommend staying here. The beds are very small, the rooms are old and the floors really need to be re-done. the bathrooms are just ok, Our room the shower leaked onto the floor and the floor boards we always wet and soft.
