"I would definitely stay here again, considering the limited resort-like options on Isla. The pool was a 10/10. We really enjoyed the attentive poolside service. Skip the restaurant for dinner. It's nothing to write home about and our food was over-salted. The food is fairly OK for breakfast and lunch. I believe Izla has an all inclusive option, but I'd skip on that. Word of warning: Do not do the "Resort Credit" where you put down money upfront to use throughout your stay. Just pay as you go. Every time I tried to use my credit they said I was out and I had to go up to the front desk. Lo and behold, my credit was just fine each time. Funny how that never happened when my husband was closing out the bill. Other than that inconvenience, overall we enjoyed our stay. "

"Food, workers are great. Awful concierge.. they don’t help much… Is all about selling, very pushy and annoying. Got calls at my room me day after I said NO multiple times. "

"Lovely resort, ideal for families with kids. Pools are great, beaches nice but waves a bit choppy. Shows and kids activities are amazing. Restaurant food is just OK. Nice variety but still resort food. Could do with more waiters but overall lovely experience. Water park next door has lovely slides for the kids! "

"I honestly like the place for the pool and activities. The food was a hit and a miss; I like the steakhouse restaurant other than that the buffet you may like some items or not; choose wisely but far most I love the liquor in the room; as far liquor wise they also could of had done better in selection. We had a car to drive around so when we got bored with the food we went out even though this place was all inclusive. I would stay again if they improve their menu and liquor selections. "

"Prices were very high comparing the hotel offers. Here are the good: room was very clean, hotel was clean as well and well maintained, safe, food was ok, Riu party for all was really great. Not so good: the barbacue restaurant food could be much better some served seemed not fresh, more food options in the main restaurant and in the sports bar, the beach was full of weed and the trees had roots coming out of the sand, the entertainment could be better, the best was Riu party, other days were not so great. They could assist me better, I did not have a shuttle, when I called the hotel, instead of offer me shuttle options&tips, they told me to call expedia. Gym was very small and busy early morning. Overall was acceptable, but could be done much better."

" Food variety is offered since they have 6 to 7 restaurants inside the hotel. The best options are those who required advance reservations. Just make sure you bring proper footwear if you are going to these restaurants since flip flops or beach wear are not allowed. Your designated butler will be happy to assist you on arrival, especially if you have WhatsApp on your phone, providing you with schedules, restaurant options, and other comforts. For airport to hotel or vice versa transportation, you can book a shuttle through the hotel or online via Cancun Shuttle. I recommend the latter, as I saved about $70. Don't forget to have smaller bills for tips and other expenses. "
