If you're able to book an all-inclusive at this hotel, be cautious of what is actually all-inclusive and what is not. This is definitely more of a boutique hotel that offers all-inclusive however, the employees don't seem to know what is included and what is not. Overall it is a nice hotel, good size room and an awesome pool. The pool on the roof is awesome but nobody's ever up there including a bartender. We would not return sadly. Food however was delicious.

We knew this wasn’t typical all-inclusive hotel, but the meal service kept changing during our stay. First, breakfast was a buffet, then it switched to a menu. One day the service was perfect, the next day it wasn’t. We couldn’t use the beach because of the large amount of seaweed. The rooftop pool is for adults only. The kids couldn’t enjoy the view. Our vacation wasn’t bad, it was just good.

The.moment we stepped foot at Izla Beach, we felt welcome. Warriors was waiting with a huge smile on his face, Ana, Elias, and AmErik at the front desk were wonderful and had so many wonderful recommendations for food and activities. Jose at the bar did his magic with the best drinks, even ones that are off-menu; all we had to do was tell him our flavor profile and he'd create the beast drinks ever! Gerardo at the pool was attentive and made us feel so taken care of. Carlos and Neomi at breakfast at Izla Cafe took such great care of us, Carlos in particular made sure my coffee was never empty and my water is always replenished. Our room was clean and comfortable. This our first time at Izla Beach and this is the only place to stay, as far as we're concerned. We won't go anywhere else!

Room looked clean but had a bad smell. Staff was very friendly. Food left a lot to be desired. Very few options. Dinner was expensive and just so so. Had to request a frig. Pool was nice. Hot water was scarce after first few days. Sudden severe water pressure drop on our final morning.

Staff unfriendly and rude, food and drinks would take up to and hour to get and if you ask, staff would get mad at you! Extremely limited food options at only one restaurant with 2 menus (italian-mexican-italian-mexican) Pool water cold. No music all day and no any kind of entertainment, everything is closed at 10pm. Beach small and overgrown with weeds. Towel shortage in the room and beach.

We were very disappointed with this property. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that had clearly not been properly cleaned. There were fresh, sticky stains that appeared to be from spilled beverages, the floors were dirty, and the drapes were both stained and torn. When we raised the issue, we were initially told that no other rooms were available. However, after my wife pointed out that rooms were still being advertised as available on Expedia, we were moved to a different room. Unfortunately, the second room was in similar condition, with dirty floors and overall poor cleanliness. Both rooms were in need of significant renovation. Door frames and fixtures showed noticeable rust, and the furniture—particularly the couches—was heavily stained and showed considerable wear and age. The beach area was fully covered with seaweed and made no use of it. We drove to the main town to make use of the beach. We made the best of our stay, but based on our experience, we would not recommend this property to others.

Food was average. Rooms were missing essential items like an ice bucket. Used items weren’t replaced each day ie: coffee supplies and hand towels. Adults only area was lacking in shade/umbrellas. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Nice hotel overall ~ Full sun most of the day, very few umbrellas, even fewer tables between the chairs ~ most guests had to continously hold their drinks, set them down on the concrete, in the pool, or on the sand!!! Just silly when small tables are so inexpensive ~ at bare minimum find a way to add cupholders to the chairs...

We stayed from March 25 to April 1st. The Service staff were outstanding. After arriving we became aware that the ownership of the hotel had changed. There was no communication about the change, and our package went from being all inclusive with the ability to order from the menu whenever we wanted, to not being able to get anything aside from the buffet for each meal. We were extremely disappointed with how the change over happened and the lack of communication around it. The expectations that the service staff had gone through with us upon arrival were just no longer available, and we had no choice but to dine elsewhere any time that we wanted a la carte food. In addition to this, there was a corporate team on site for the last few days and their presence was not welcoming or friendly in the least. We tried to address the situation that we were in with our package expectations many times, and were not provided any solutions at all that would have made it better. Prior to arriving we had also contacted the hotel to see if there was an opportunity to upgrade our room. Through email, we were given a rate for an upgrade, but when we tried to accept it and proceed to payment, the response was to show up and we would be taken care of. I tried calling instead to have the upgrade processed and was told that it was not an option. Along with that all systems were down, including wi-fi and communication to the front desk. I didn't book the all inclusive pkg, but 1 day was raining so I tried to just pay as I went but talked into pre authorizing 4000 pesos, I had the breakfast buffet and later tried to get a couple of drinks from the pool bar, was told no, went to the front desk, she called and said I'm good to go. I went back to the pool bar and was denied again, then I settled/cancelled my pre auth, paid for the breakfast(475 pesos and not worth it no fruit at the buffet) I was embarrassed and annoyed and left, glad the rain stopped and I could venture out as Isla is know for many great eateries. Room was good, was clear and the WiFi was only 4hrs per day too. Couldn't imaging if I kids with me at this resort.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is outstanding. Everyone is pleasant and helpful. The food was just okay, but had enough options so that you could always find something you liked. This is not a party hotel and there is no music blaring at the pool. You can relax, read and really enjoy yourself. The pool is large but sometimes there are a lot of kids in the pool. You are able to go to the adult pool on the roof to find some quiet. We like the more remote location and rent golf cart to get around.
