There were stains on the ceiling and it could have been a little bit cleaner (there were pee pee drops on the front of the toilet and the floor needed a good vacuuming). We had to check into the B&B from the next door hotel which seemed a little shady inside. The B&B write up claimed the it was located on the beach. It is not. "Very nice, cozy and 99% of my experience was excellent. The other 1% was not so great. I went to the front desk multiple times in the course of an hour to return a hairdryer that shorted out. The desk attendant was on the the phone screaming at someone and didn't acknowledge me. Once he was done screaming, he curly took the hairdryer and was extremely rude. "The kitchenette in both rooms our family rented had stove tops that didn't heat to boiling...hard to cook shrimp. As a result, we ended up having to eat out which is expensive! One of the rooms did not have a full refrigerator just an apartment size fridge. We picked this hotel for the convenience of a kitchenette because we were traveling with my grandchildren. "The owners seem like very kind people and initially when I walked into the room it looked renovated and very cute! However, this place has SERIOUS mold issue. In the air vent, the ceiling light, and especially underneath the sink. It looks like the issue has not been addressed in the slightest. Like they just painted over the issues with cute decor. You can tell by how the place smells that there is a mold issue. When I saw underneath the sink I got so worried I slept with a mask on all night...

"We loved being able to stay downtown and walk wherever we wanted to; and having a Trolly stop right near the hotel was great, too. It was a work trip so I felt comfortable to do that in the room each day. The breakfast was always good, as it usually is. The room was clean as well. This is why I love staying in Hampton Inns when I travel."

"The room is clean, but it’s very dated. You have to park across the street in a public parking garage which gets extremely packed and then you have to cross the street with all your luggage or you can valet. We arrived late and everything closes by 9 PM for food so plan ahead if you are a late arrival, their bar upstairs is small and very limited. It is more like nachos and a pretzel. The staff was nice and we enjoyed our stay."
