This hotel is a gem for the price. Rooms are on the small side,but nicely furnished.Breakfast was better in the other hotel we stayed at, but the rooftop views were incredible. Location, price and staff were the best part of the hotel which is why I gave it one extra star.

The style of the hotel is very "artsy". The location is great to have restaurants and bars around the corner but it is not directly in the busy alleys, so you can enjoy a good night sleep. Breakfast is available in the parent hotel a few steps away on the rooftop terrace. We liked our stay very much.

Really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The place is in the heart of city center, staff is really nice, room is clean, breakfast is descent and is in a hotel next door. There is a bar downstairs and a small restaurant on the top floor.

Hello , to start with ALP , Mustafa and Esma where excellent help on the property from A to Z All day long Very professional , kind and pleasant. Very much thanks to them. Rooms are small in size and needs renovation , no idea if the room I was in is still not renovated or all rooms , this hotel is a branch from the Root hotel which is in the same street and the breakfast is in the root hotel on 9th floor which has a nice view but needs to be renovated and organized in a better way not to forget the staff did all what’s needed to serve us well As for food it’s daily changed with the hot food section , cheeses and main stuff are the same. The area is very live all day long and all necessaries are around the street From pharmacy , grocery’s , local shops and restaurants not to forget the most important too The bus and train.

The rooms, service, and location are great. Shout out to Ayberk and Mert who were very helpful during our stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate us with our specific requests. They have plenty of tea, coffee, and water at the lobby next to their bar. The restaurant at the rooftop has a great view of the city. We enjoyed the coffee pods and instant coffee machine in the rooms. We could hear a bit of noise from the restaurant upstairs , but the streets were quiet night.

Hotel and staff (Mert) was great. Very friendly and helpful. Great location and was pleasantly surprised we could use the steam room and sauna at the hotel next door. Would recommend and stay again!

Unfortunately my stay was not a good one. My room was freezing when I walked in. We were told there was a recent fumigation so the window was left open, and there was a strong storm that hit Istanbul so there was water on the floor. The room smelt as a result. There was no hot water in my room. It was eventually resolved but not until after midnight. And in the morning the internet was not working. The elevator was also out. We were told it was due to the storm but the partner hotel that did the breakfast did not experience these problems. We ended up cutting our short stay and moved to a nearby hotel. The staff were nice and apologetic when it came to the problems.

Small - but who cares when you have all of Istnabul to explore - but very comfortable room. Great location with easy walking distance to the Egyptian Bazaar, a gajillion restaurants and eateries, ferry's and public transportation. Staff was tremendously helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was included and was more than ample. Definitely our go to accommodations in Istanbul

SuB Karakoy Special Class is my go-to boutique hotel in Istanbul each time I am passing though town. The rooms, though small, are perfectly appointed and comfortable. The staff, led by the GM Alp, is exceptional. You have access to the more upscale sister hotel next door for a excellent breakfast with a spectacular roof top view as well as the hotel's spa. When you step out the door you are immediately thrust he charming Karakoy neighborhood and its cafes, restaurants and vibrant local scene. A tram station is nearby for longer wxcursions.tram. The rate is very reasonable. All in all SuB Kara is a fantastic place ro stay in Istanbul's Karakoy neighborhood.
