"The property, the rooms, the grounds were extremely clean. Hotel’s staff was great and very professional and polite. The variety of food and drinks was as also very good. I was actually very surprised to the quality and attentiveness of the staff upon our arrival and throughout the stay. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience. I would gladly and without hesitation stay here again and again."

"We had a horrible experience at this location. One of the members of out party had a slip and fall accident. The pain from the accident at the time of the incident was so severe she fainted. Fortunately shortly after she regained consciousness and was feeling well enough to walk around a bit and get some fresh air. Unfortunately blunt force impacts at times linger and bruising can at times take time to develop. We had a short weekend stay and while there was some pain close to check out the pain intensified as the bruising came in and the bruising grew larger. I reached out to the hotel shortly after our flight and settling in back home. They took a while to reply then they attempted to call me and had horrible connection that kept dropping the call. Then they just sent a message stating they were having phone trouble and would reach out. They never did. Then i reached out again only to receive a long winded to bad so sad email response claiming 0 responsibility! They sated that because she didn't need elevated medical attention at that time and because we didn't bring it up before check out that released them from any liability or need to indemnify the affected party in any way. Mind you they knew she fell they knew she fainted but it was up to us the guest to check in with them for follow up as to how she was feeling I'm sorry but at a place worth staying it would have been the other way around. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!"

"Todo ok, hotel muy bonito, comida excelente todo el tiempo, la coctelería bien preparada, personal muy amable. Las habitaciones estuvieron limpias todo el tiempo. Estacionamiento al aire libre pero seguro. Muy buena ubicación. Alberca grande y muy buenas actividades de playa."

"Our stay at Thompson Zihuatanejo on Playa La Ropa was exceptional from start to finish. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly suited to a relaxing beach escape. The pools are fantastic — peaceful, well maintained, and a wonderful place to spend the day soaking up the atmosphere. The breakfast and dinners at the resort restaurant were a highlight of our stay. We especially appreciated the focus on fresh local produce and authentic regional dishes, all prepared with great quality and care. What truly made the experience special was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, creating the kind of hospitality that makes you want to return. And the sunsets… evening walks along Playa La Ropa directly in front of the resort were simply magical. Watching the sun disappear over the bay with the waves rolling in was unforgettable. A beautiful resort in one of Mexico’s most stunning beach locations — we would happily return."

"Hola la propiedad esta muy vieja, le falta mucho mantenimiento. La comida de todos los bufet no es de tan buena calidad ni variedad para el precio, que pagamos casi 600dlls x 2 noches por 2 personas. Entonces no regresariamos."
